There are different steps in Search Engine Optimization, Crawling, Caching and Indexing are some of them.

Web Crawling is a program designed by Google to visit websites and webpages to read their content and information to create entries for a search engine index. Web Crawling program also known as spiders, Google bots, robots etc.

Caching is a process of storing the content and information of a website or webpage to a database after Web Crawling.

Indexing means listing the website and webpages in a search engine result after Crawling and Caching.
